What is 14k Gold Filled?
14k Gold Filled jewelry contains more gold than gold-plated jewelry and is considered to be the next best thing to "solid gold." Gold filled jewelry wears like solid gold because it is composed of a solid layer of gold fused with other metal alloys. Gold filled pieces offers all the same physical characteristics as solid gold such as beauty, durability, and strength, but at a fraction of the cost. With proper and reasonable care, gold filled jewelry can last for years to come.
Please remember that just about everything that touches gold could have an effect on its outer appearance as well as oxidation. It is important to regularly clean gold filled jewelry with our Sunshine Polishing Cloth or an appropriate gold polishing cloth (read manufacturer's label).
- Budget friendly compared to "solid gold"
- Higher quality than gold-plated jewelry
- Durable and long-lasting
- Able to be worn in water
What is Argentium Sterling Silver 925?
Argentium Silver is a modern sterling silver that contains more germanium than traditional alloys. More germanium allows for agerntium silver to be highly tarnish-resistant and purer than sterling silver. If your jewelry does tarnish, you can simply clean the silver with our Sunshine Polishing Cloth or an appropriate silver polishing cloth (read manufacturer's label).
- Brighter than platinum, white gold and traditional sterling silver
- Longer lasting shine: low maintenance, easy to care for and simple to clean
What is the best way to take care of my jewelry?
Please keep in mind that all handcrafted jewelry are delicate in nature and need to be handled/ worn with care. It is recommended to clean your jewelry regularly with the Sunshine Polishing Cloth or a jewelry cloth from a local jewelry store (read the manufacturer's instructions). Although each piece can be worn under water, it is advised to not let your jewelry come into contact with any harsh chemicals (ie. hairspray, nail polish remover, etc.). Remember to take off your jewelry before swimming or coming in contact with unnecessary exposure to moisture and heat.
Please store your jewelry inside your complementary gift box with the tarnish resistant strip in it.
