Inspired by the simplicity of minimalism, modern art, and geometric shapes, designer Michelle Kim has created her own unique style in jewelry design. Each piece by The Hatters is handcrafted in Orange County, California.

Michelle is a self-taught jewelry designer and a cognitive psychology graduate from UC Irvine. The Hatters was originally created in 2013 to meet the needs of those who searched for minimal, unique, and high quality everyday jewelry. We guarantee that each piece is solely created by the designer herself and that all materials are sourced from the United States. The idea is to be able to wear one-of-a-kind jewelry that never goes out of style.

As of 2022, Michelle rebranded her company The Hatters as Stephen & Jung. Creating her new jewelry brand to meet the needs of both women and men in their search for minimal, unique, and high quality everyday jewelry.
